It is considered the brightest, most important holiday of spring and is associated with the Resurrection of Christ, which reveals the joy of the victory of the Son of God over death and eternal oblivion. In the Resurrection, Christians see the confirmation of life after death, which is the main meaning of the celebration. Ukrainians are carefully preparing for this day. Easter now symbolizes general rebirth and renewal.
The celebration of Easter was not originally connected with the crucifixion of Christ. Only in 325, at the Council of Nicaea, where representatives of all Christian churches were present, the main rules for the celebration of Easter were marked, many of which have survived to this day. Over time, Easter became the main Christian holiday.
